A group of thirteen figures is depicted sitting at a long table set with various dishes, during what appears to be a significant gathering. Central to the scene is a man with his arms wide open, around whom the other figures display various gestures and expressions of surprise, conversation, and contemplation. The setting suggests an indoor environment with classical architecture, highlighted by the use of linear perspective leading to a distant point through an open window at the back of the room.
